Momo business आप 4 तरीकों से शुरू कर सकते हैं: street cart, छोटा outlet, cloud kitchen या frozen momo unit। हर model में investment, machine और licence अलग हैं। इस guide में चारों की जानकारी है, ताकि आप अपने budget के हिसाब से सही model चुन सकें।
सही model इस पर निर्भर करता है कि आप कितना invest कर सकते हैं और कहाँ बेचेंगे। Cart में सबसे कम पैसा लगता है, frozen momo unit में सबसे ज़्यादा।

Momo में दो चीज़ें मुख्य हैं: wrapper का dough और filling। Chutney और packing इसके ऊपर से।

सब्ज़ी और chicken के दाम हर हफ़्ते बदलते हैं, इसलिए cost per plate अपने local mandi rate से निकालें।
Momo बनाने में 6 steps हैं। Cart पर ये हाथ से होते हैं; frozen unit में step 1, 3 और 4 machine से होते हैं।
Dough गूंधें: मैदा, थोड़ा नमक और पानी से सख्त dough बनाएं, 20-30 मिनट रखें।
Filling बनाएं: सब्ज़ी काटें या chicken mince करें, लहसुन-अदरक और मसाले मिलाएं।
Wrapper बनाएं: पतली sheet बेलें और गोल टुकड़े काटें।
भरें और shape दें: filling रखकर किनारे मोड़ें या pleat बनाएं।
Steam या fry करें: wrapper हल्का transparent होने तक steam करें, या fried momo के लिए तलें।
Serve या freeze करें: chutney के साथ गरम serve करें, या frozen model के लिए freeze करके pack करें।
Chicken filling पूरी तरह पकनी चाहिए। Veg और non-veg की तैयारी अलग रखें।
Cart के लिए सिर्फ़ steamer और gas काफ़ी है। जब रोज़ हज़ारों momo बनाने हों, तब machines काम आती हैं।

Momo business का profit आपकी प्रति plate selling price और प्रति plate पूरी लागत का अंतर है। इसका कोई fixed आंकड़ा नहीं है, क्योंकि rent, इलाका और ingredient के दाम हर शहर में अलग होते हैं। Profit per plate = Selling price − (wrapper + filling + chutney + gas + packing + staff + rent का हिस्सा, प्रति plate)
अपना असली आंकड़ा ऐसे निकालें:
• 100 momo का trial batch बनाएं और हर रुपये का खर्च लिखें।
• अपने इलाके के 5-10 momo sellers का plate price देखें।
• Delivery app पर बेच रहे हैं तो profit गिनने से पहले platform commission घटाएं।
• Frozen momo में freezer की बिजली और दुकानों को दिया margin जोड़ें।
हर momo business के लिए FSSAI registration या licence ज़रूरी है। बाकी registration आपके model और turnover पर निर्भर करते हैं।

Frozen packed momo goods के रूप में बिकते हैं, restaurant service के रूप में नहीं, इसलिए उनका GST rate और registration limit अलग हो सकती है। अपने CA से confirm करें।
वहाँ बेचें जहाँ लोग पहले से quick food खरीदते हैं: college, coaching centre, office, market और bus stand के पास।
Retail selling Cart, stall या outlet। शाम के समय आमतौर पर सबसे ज़्यादा ग्राहक आते हैं।
Online selling Swiggy और Zomato पर list करें, WhatsApp पर direct order लें। लंबे menu से ज़्यादा अच्छी photos और fast delivery मायने रखती है।
Bulk और frozen selling दूसरे stalls, cafe, hostel, caterer और freezer वाली kirana दुकानों को frozen momo supply करें।
क्या momo business के लिए government scheme या loan है? हाँ। आपके business के size के हिसाब से दो central schemes काम आती हैं।
PM SVANidhi (street vendors के लिए) बिना collateral के working capital loan, steps में: पहले Rs 15,000 तक, फिर Rs 25,000, और समय पर चुकाने के बाद Rs 50,000, साथ में interest subsidy। Scheme 31 March 2030 तक चलेगी। इसके लिए vending certificate या urban local body का recommendation letter चाहिए।
PMFME (frozen momo unit के लिए) Micro food processing unit को eligible project cost का 35% credit-linked subsidy मिल सकता है, अधिकतम Rs 10 लाख। Project cost का कम से कम 10% आपको खुद लगाना होगा। Apply pmfme.mofpi.gov.in पर या District Industries Centre (DIC) के ज़रिए करें।

Trial batch से recipe और cost per plate fix करें।
FSSAI registration और local vending या trade licence लें।
